Fred Willard was fired as host of the PBS series "Market Warriors" on Thursday, a day after being arrested for alleged lewd conduct at an adult theater in Hollywood.
The series, which centers around a quartet of antique- pickers as they scour the nation for vintage treasures, premiered July 16.
"Given the unfortunate news reported today, effective immediately, Fred Willard no longer will be involved with the series," a spokeswoman for PBS station WGBH told TheWrap in a statement.
"Antiques Roadshow" host Mark Walberg will re-narrate the unaired episodes of the series.

"Anchorman" actor Willard, 72, was arrested by LAPD vice officers Wednesday at approximately 8:50 p.m., after officers allegedly spotted Willard engaged in a lewd act during a routine inspection of the theater, located on the 5400 block of Santa Monica Blvd.
Willard was arrested on a lewd conduct charge, cited and released.
Willard's attorney, Paul Takakjian, is denying any wrongdoing on his client's part.
"With all due respect to the individual officer, our belief is that Fred did nothing in any violation of any law," Takakjian said in a statement provided to TheWrap. "We will be working vigorously to clear his name in this matter."
Willard appears to be safe in his other TV gig, ABC's improv comedy series "Trust Us With Your Life." All of the episodes for the first season have already filmed, and an individual with knowledge of the situation told TheWrap that they will air as planned.
