George Zimmerman’s Parents to Sit Down for Barbara Walters Interview

Barbara Walters sit-down will mark first interview since George Zimmerman's not-guilty verdict

The parents of George Zimmerman, who was found not guilty in the shooting death of teenager Trayvon Martin on Saturday, will sit down for an interview with Barbara Walters for ABC News.

This will mark the first network interview for Robert and Gladys Zimmerman since their son was found not guilty.

Portions of the interview will air on Monday night on "World News With Diane Sawyer" and "Nightline," and Tuesday morning on "Good Morning America."

Excerpts of the interview will also air on ABCNews.com, ABC News Radio and ABC NewsOne.

Zimmerman faced a second-degree murder charge in the February 2012 fatal shooting of Martin, who was unarmed. Zimmerman had been serving as a community watch volunteer at his gated community in Sanford, Fla.
