Cory and Topanga appear to have grown up into a pair of loving and responsible parents, with a mischievous daughter who has to make the world her own
The first preview for “Girl Meets World” has debuted, and it looks as heartwarming as ever.
The sequel to Disney series “Boy Meets World” stars Rowan Blanchard as the teenage offspring of the ’90s quintessential high school sweethearts, Cory Matthews (Ben Savage) and Topanga Lawrence (Danielle Fishel), who appear to have grown up into the same kind of wise TV parents that they had themselves.
“How long do I have to live in my father’s world,” Blanchard’s Riley Matthews asks her dad after trying to sneak out of their New York City apartment in the teaser (above).
“Until you make it yours,” Savage responds.
See what they did there?
“Girl Meets World,” which co-stars August Maturo as the Matthews’ son and Sabrina Carpenter as the mischievous best friend, and premieres on the Disney Channel this summer.
