Landmark episode scheduled to air March 18
The 100th episode of “Glee” is shaping up to be quite the reunion.
Heather Morris, Mark Salling, Amber Riley and Harry Shum Jr., have signed on to return to the Fox musical series, the show's co-creator Ryan Murphy has announced via his Twitter account.
On Tuesday, Murphy said on his Twitter account that all of the original cast members had been invited back for the show's 100th episode.
“ALL The Glee Originals received invites today to be in our 100th episode! More to follow,” Murphy tweeted.
Earlier this year, Morris, Salling, Shum and Riley departed the series. Dianna Agron (also known to Gleeks as Quinn Fabray) has also departed and last appeared on the show in February.
The 100th episode, scheduled to air March 18, will center on McKinley High's senior class preparing for graduation and reminiscing about their most memorable moments at the school.
The songs for the episode are being chosen by fans, who have a list of 30 tunes previously performed on the show to choose from. The top 10 vote-getters will be remixed and performed by the cast.
