Another ‘Glee’ Snub: Right Winger Blasts Lady Gaga Episode

Conservative pundit Dan Gainor calls fictional William McKinley “the gayest high school in the history of mankind”

The potent combination of "Glee" and Lady Gaga on Tuesday night's episode has proven to be too hard for at least one conservative to ignore.

"This is (creator) Ryan Murphy's latest depraved initiative to promote his gay agenda," said right-wing media critic Dan Gainor to ABCNews.com.

His statement concerned the show's latest episode, "Born This Way," which saw student Kurt Hummel (played by Golden Globe winner Chris Colfer) triumphantly returning to William McKinley high school, where he had been experiencing gay bashing.

Gainor, the vice president for business and culture at the conservative organization Media Research Center, also added that the fictional school portrayed on the show is "the gayest high school in the history of mankind."

The episode ended with the glee club members belting out the Lady Gaga hit "Born This Way" while wearing T-shirts bearing slogans about things they'd been embarrassed about but now embrace  — including, excellently, Will's "Butt Chin."

Gainor's sensational comments seem to have fallen on deaf ears. The 90-minute episode of "Glee" was the most-watched show on network television from 8 to 9 p.m., and placed second only to the much-hyped premiere of "The Voice" in its final half hour.
