The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Discrimination couldn't decide which TV comedy they liked best, so awarded top honors to two shows at its annual media awards ceremony in Los Angeles Sunday night.
"Glee" and "Modern Family" shared the Outstanding Comedy Series award.
Other winners included Lifetime's "Project Runway"(Outstanding Reality Series) and MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell (Outstanding TV Journalism Segment) for a piece on bullying. "I Love You Phillip Morris" won the award for best film in limited release.
Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth received an award for her efforts to promote LGBT equality and NBC Chairman Robert Greenblatt for his work on gay themed shows such as "Queer as Folk."
At a previous New York based ceremony last month, "True Blood" and Ricky Martin were among those honored by the anti-discrimination group.
