It’s not quite empty-nest syndrome, but it’s close for Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey) on Tuesday’s new episode of ABC comedy “The Goldbergs.”
On the episode titled “You’re Not Invited,” there’s some growing pains in the Goldberg house but it’s not the kids that are feeling hurt.

Adam (Sean Giambrone) has asked for a mom-less laser tag birthday party. He plans to invite crush Dana (Natalie Alyn Lind), but Barry (Troy Gentile) thinks the theme is childish and agrees to help Adam organize a secret make out party in the basement.
In TheWrap’s exclusive preview, Beverly isn’t taking her exclusion from the festivities very well. Will Erica (Hayley Orrantia) back her brothers or rat on them?
