‘The Good Wife’ Lands Sarah Silverman

The CBS show’s producers announce in a Twitter chat that the sarcastic comedian will guest-star later this season

CBS may want to alert its censors: Sarah Silverman will guest star on an episode of "The Good Wife" later this season. The show's producers broke the news via tweet during a chat with fans Tuesday night.

The edgy 40-year-old comedian, who famously dated Jimmy Kimmel (and infamously f***** Matt Damon), will appear on the popular Juliana Margulies legal drama in the season's twenty-second episode, set to air in May.

According to the official CBS fan community forum for the show, Silverman "will play the smart, funny owner of a sexually-explicit website, devoted to connecting married people who are looking to have affairs" — a la AshleyMadison.com.

Silverman isn't the only big name TV personality who has done a guest stint on "The Good Wife." Already this season, the series has welcomed Michael J. Fox and America Ferrera into its loving embrace.
