Gregg Allman dropped his lawsuit against the producers of “Midnight Rider” on Tuesday.
Presiding Judge John Morse’s office at the Superior Court of Chatham County told TheWrap that the case was dismissed this morning. An order has not yet been officially written.
A motion to quash and a motion hearing were scheduled for Monday, according to court filings.

The case — Gregory Allman vs. Unclaimed Freight Productions Inc. and Film Allman LLC — was filed as an attempt to stop production on the film after the Feb. 20 death of crewmember Sarah Jones.
Allman claimed in the lawsuit that the option to his life rights had expired before producers decided last month to resume production. Principal photography on “Midnight Rider” needed to have commenced by Feb. 28, but the production was halted when crewmember Jones, 27, was killed by a train during pre-production filming.
After that fatal incident, producers publicly announced they would suspend work on the film indefinitely.

Star William Hurt withdrew from the film on April 23. The original lawsuit was filed five days later.
The defendants had previously vowed to move the production from Los Angeles from Georgia and resume by early June.
