At least one Fox News host has responded to Jon Stewart‘s latest evisceration of the network’s Benghazi coverage. Greta Van Susteren took to her personal blog to comment on “The Daily Show” host’s segment Monday night.

The “On the Record” anchor took issue with Stewart’s contention that the network was more outraged about Benghazi intelligence failures than those under President Obama’s predecessor in the oval office.

“Besides the obvious — that almost all the Democrats in Congress voted for the war in Iraq and other media reporting — my simple note to Stewart is: 2 wrongs don’t make a right,” she wrote on GretaWire.

Monday night, Stewart lampooned Fox News’ coverage of an leaked email that instructed then UN Ambassador Susan Rice to play up the film “Innocence of Muslims” as the cause for the U.S. Embassy attack in Benghazi.

Stewart acknowledged the Obama administration’s “deplorable” decision to spin the story, but called out Fox for not devoting air time to a number of other spins the Bush Administration did after their intelligence failures — most notably the spin that happened after no WMDs were found in Iraq.

“I commend you for finally getting in touch with your inner outrage,” Stewart said. “Because if I remember correctly, in the previous decade it was an emotion you did not seem comfortable addressing or expressing.”

Van Susteren did praise the Comedy Central host before taking issue with his remarks. She called him smart and clever, but said “like the rest of us, not always right.” As a comedian she said, he has more latitude than those in the media.

Here is her response in full:

“Last night Jon Stewart opened his show with a segment about Fox News Channel’s aggressive coverage of Benghazi.

Stewart’s criticism of Fox News Channel is that Fox News Channel is more aggressive about President Obama and Benghazi than it ever was about President Bush and Iraq.

Besides the obvious — that almost all the Democrats in Congress voted for the war in Iraq and other media reporting – my simple note to Stewart is: 2 wrongs don’t make a right.”
