The undercover baddie in “Grimm” has landed in “Pompeii.”

Sasha Roiz has been cast in director Paul W.S. Anderson‘s period drama. He will play Proculus, the bodyguard and right hand man to Senator Corvus (played by Kiefer Sutherland). Proculus is described as “the menace standing behind the Senator’s despicable schemes.”

The 39-year-old actor joins previously announced castmates Sutherland, Kit Harington (“Game of Thrones”), Emily Browning (“Sleeping Beauty”), Jared Harris ("Mad Men") and Carrie Anne Moss ("The Matrix").

The drama from Constantin Films and Anderson’s Impact Pictures began shooting in March on location in Pompeii and will begin filming in Toronto later this month.
