TBS Sitcom 'Ground Floor' Gets Second Season

Network orders 10 episodes for Season 2, slated to air late 2014

TBS has renewed sitcom “Ground Floor” for a 10 episode second season.

The workplace comedy was one of four TBS series that ranked among basic cable's Top 10 original sitcoms of 2013 in the advertiser-sought adults 18-49 demographic.

“Ground Floor” is created by Bill Lawrence (“Cougar Town”) and Greg Malins (“2 Broke Girls). It stars Skylar Astin (“Pitch Perfect”), Briga Heelan (“Cougar Town”) and John C. McGinley (“Scrubs”).

Lawrence, Jeff Ingold (“Surviving Jack”) and Jeff Astrof (“The New Adventures of Old Christine”) serve as executive producers. Lawrence's Doozer, in association withWarner Horizon Television, produces the show for TBS.

Season 2 is slated to begin in late 2014.
