Calm Your Morning Crankies With The New Grumpy Cat Grumppuccino

The rising Hollywood media star joins an elite group of beverage-affiliated celebrities

Move over, Kopi Luwak! There's a new cat-affiliated coffee in town: Grumpy Cat and her over exposed under bite now have their own coffee drink.

The Grumppuccino comes in three flavors: Coffee, Mocha and Vanilla. There does not appear to be a "tartar sauce" flavor, which would be in line with Grumpy Cat's given name, "Tardar Sauce."

Grumpy Cat and her people are making the most of Ms. Cat's limelight. Ms. Cat recently came to Los Angeles to celebrate the release of her first book and meet her many fans. Her first movie is in pre-production (insiders told TheWrap that it will star a CGI Ms. Cat rather than the real thing).

A coffee drink may not immediately seem the next logical step in the Grumpolution ("drink Grumpy Cat" doesn't necessarily sound very appetizing), but it actually makes sense. Kopi Luwak, made from the feces of an Asian Palm Civet, a cat-like mammal, is one of the most expensive coffees in the world.

And there's plenty of celebrity drink precedent: Fifty Cent's "Formula 50" Vitamin Water drink, Bethenny Frankel's Skinnygirl cocktails line, Arnold Palmer's … um … Arnold Palmer, and, of course, Steven Seagal's Lightning Bolt ("Each component was carefully chosen by Steven Seagal to incorporate the greatest treasures of Asian medicine into an all natural energy boost"), among many others.

Coffee made out of Civet poop costs over $10 a cup; a price has not been announced for Grumpuccinos, which will be available online "soon" and in stores "sometime in September."
