Marvel fans, prepare to be “blown away” when “Guardians of the Galaxy” hits theaters on Aug. 1.
Bradley Cooper raised already-high expectations in a new TV spot (above) for the upcoming superhero film that aired during ABC’s “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” on Tuesday night.
“I think people are going to be blown away by how unique it is,” Cooper, who voices Rocket Raccoon, quips in a behind-the-scenes interview. “There’s nothing like it.”
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige reiterated that the movie takes place in the same cinematic universe as the rest of the intertwined movies, “but this one takes it to the next level.”
Chris Pratt, who plays an American pilot named Star-Lord, describes his fellow “Guardians” as “very selfish,” until they “find there’s something worth fighting for.”
Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel and Dave Bautista — who voice green assassin Gamora, giant tree thing Groot, and angry warrior Drax the Destroyer, respectively — also chime in to tease one of the most anticipated movies of the summer.
