‘Happy Endings’ Star Eliza Coupe Closes ABC Studios Production Deal

Actress will develop projects for both ABC Studios and ABC Signature Studios

Eliza Coupe, best known for her role as Jane Kerkovich-Williams on the ABC comedy series “Happy Endings,” has closed a production deal under which she will develop projects for ABC Studios and ABC Signature Studios.

Coupe most recently starred on the USA/ABC Signature series “Benched,” created by Michaela Watkins and Damon Jones and just completed a five-episode arc on the new Hulu series “Casual,” created by Harris Danow and executive produced by Jason Reitman and Helen Estabrook.

Her other television credits include Showtime’s “House of Lies,” CBS’ “The Millers,” NBC’s “Scrubs,” HBO’s “Flight of the Conchords” and ABC’s “Samantha Who.”

Coupe has starred in the features “Shanghai Calling,” “The Last Time You Had Fun,” “What’s Your Number?” and “I Think I Love My Wife.”

Coupe is represented at UTA, Kirsten Ames Management and Jackoway Tyerman.
