Not many people rock the fanny pack these days, but Fox’s “American Idol” hopeful Samantha wears one with pride.
The Louisiana native entertains the judges during Wednesday’s Salt Lake City auditions before even singing a note — by revealing the contents of her fanny pack, as per Season 13’s newest judge Harry Connick Jr.‘s request.

“If you pull out an egg and a safety pin, you win what’s behind door number three,” Connick Jr. joked
Lo and behold… the jazz singer may get what he’s asked for.
