"Jon and I ecstatic about Harry joining the team. He's an industry veteran who thoroughly understands the genre and shares a vision for ‘Starchaser’ that is directly aligned with ours,” said Iglesias.

Originally released in 3D in 1985, “Starchaser”  was one of the first films to mix traditional and computer animation. Rilean Pictures acquired the rights to the film in March. Steven Hahn produced and directed the original "Starchaser," which told the story of Orin, a human slave living in the subterranean Mine-World. Hahn will executive produce the new movie.

Werksman’s credits include “Castle,” “Ugly Betty,” “Grey's Anatomy,” “Earth: Final Conflict,” “Farscape,” “Star Trek: Deep Space 9,” “Moonlight” and “The Invisible Man.” He has been nominated for two Emmys and three WGA Awards. He won a WGA Award for “Grey’s Anatomy,” a People’s Choice Award for “Moonlight” and a Saturn Award for “Moonlight.”
