HBO’s gyno-centric hit “Girls” is coming to the big screen. In certain areas, anyway.
With the third season of the Lena Dunham vehicle premiering next year, HBO is hosting “Girls Night Out” screenings in eight cities on Jan. 6, to correspond with the season’s New York premiere at Jazz at Lincoln Center.
The screenings, taking place in Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Washington, D.C., will include a live feed of the New York premiere, followed by new episodes of the series. Dunham will also offer personalized greetings to the screening attendees during the live feed.
“Girls” will premiere its third season Sunday Jan. 12 at 10 p.m. ET on HBO.
