The actor joins the final season of the HBO series
Riley Smith is joining the seventh and final season of HBO's “True Blood.”
The actor has been cast in a major recurring role, a network representative told TheWrap.
He'll play Keith, a rock ‘n’ roll-loving vampire who's soft for romance. He's a drummer in James's (Nathan Parson) band and develops an instant attraction to Arlene (Carrie Preston).
Smith played a recurring role on The CW's “90210” and has appeared on the network's drama, “Beauty and the Beast.” He stars in Lifetime's Civil War-era backdoor pilot/TV movie, “Deliverance Creek,” from author Nicholas Sparks's production company.
HBO announced last September that “True Blood” would end after the upcoming season, which premieres this summer.
