HBO’s Gay-Themed ‘Looking’ Dishes Up a Teaser (Video)

New series follows three friends exploring options for gay men in San Francisco

“Looking,” HBO’s upcoming gay-themed miniseries, premieres Jan. 19, but a new teaser for the series has been released, offering a brief and not terribly illuminating glimpse of what’s to come.

The series, which stars “Glee” actor Jonathan Groff, Frankie J. Alvarez and Murray Bartlett, follows three friends in San Francisco who grapple with the options offered to a new generation of gay men.

Russell Tovey and Scott Bakula guest star in the Michael Gannan-created series, executive produced by “Weekend” director Andrew Haigh and “Bored to Death” executive producer Sarah Condon.
