Oscar Best Picture nominee “Her” tells the unconventional love story between a man and his operating system in the not too distant future. But what if that story took place in the not too distant past?

The folks from comedy group Late Night Basement answer that question in a new trailer for “Clippy,” the Windows 95 version of “Her.”

And if there’s anything that darling little Microsoft Office paper clip has inspired in mankind over the past 20 years, it’s the exact opposite of love.
