Delegates to the Republican National Committee will vote Friday about whether to boycott presidential debates on CNN and NBC over the networks' plans to make films about Hillary Clinton.
Republicans are also asking voters to weigh in by signing an online petition decrying the films as evidence of a liberal media bias.

"These are clearly major networks’ thinly-veiled attempt at putting a thumb on the scales of the 2016 presidential election," the petition reads. "This is wrong, and the Republican National Committee will not stand for it."
The RNC did not respond to TheWrap's requests for comment.
The former Secretary of State has been non-committal about her White House ambitions, but that hasn't stopped Hollywood from cooking up a long list of movies, books and television projects timed to a possible bid for the presidency. NBC is planning a four-hour miniseries starring Diane Lane as Clinton, and CNN is planning a feature-length documentary about the presumptive Democratic presidential front-runner from "Inside Job" director Charles Ferguson.
Republican have argued in letters to both networks that the projects are tantamount to free political advertising.
The party is also putting their own spin on Clintons more than two decades in the national spotlight in a series of web ads. The spots ask if the NBC and CNN projects will detail Clinton's handling of the Benghazi attacks and her relationship with fundraiser and convicted convicted felon Norman Hsu.
