‘Hitman: Agent 47’ Trailer Kills Social Media, YouTube Stars (Video)

KiddAce, Tom Plumley and Ali Spagnola are no match for the assassin’s gun in a teaser for the upcoming reboot

Don’t cross the Agent 47 when it comes to film trailers. His silencer will find you.

Released by 20th Century Fox, a new video follows the deadly assassin as he prevents unsuspecting fans from leaking the upcoming film’s official trailer. The bald marksman breaks into the homes of Vine star KiddAce, YouTube users Tom Plumley and Ali Spagnola.

The assassin doesn’t utter a word as he shoots, strangles and clobbers the stars one by one.

The trailer comes seven months before the franchise reboot starring Zachary Quinto, Hannah Ware, Ciarán Hinds and Thomas Kretschmann is released in theaters Aug. 28.

Based on the popular stealth video game, Rupert Friend (“Homeland”) assumes the role of Agent 47, a genetically engineered assassin who hunts down a mega-corporation seeking to unlock the secrets of his past and create an army of killers. Agent 47 then teams up with a young woman to bring his foe down.

Directed by Aleksander Bach, Charles Gordon, Adrian Askarieh, Alex Young, Skip Woods signed on as producers. Skip Woods and Michael Finch developed the screenplay.

The reboot comes close to eight years after “Hitman” starring Timothy Olyphant, Dougray Scott and Olga Kurylenko.
