HLN has picked up a season order of “ASPIREist,” a news feature series from the Peabody Award-winning producers of “60 Minutes.”

The show highlights “pressing cultural issues and inspirational stories and then enables viewers to take immediate action,” a spokesperson said.

Each installment features a celebrity crusader, like George Clooney on the show’s first outing on the USA network which landed the Edward R. Murrow Award for Excellence in Innovation. The new season features Ben Affleck, Adrian Grenier and Russell Brand among others.

“ASPIREist” is produced by “60 Minutes” alums Shawn Efran and Max McClellan. The series, created by ad exec Neal Weinberg and screenwriter Michal Zebede, uses a diverse group of millennial (some TED Talk alums, naturally) as hosts — among them The Malala Fund co-founder Shiza Shahid and trans activist Geena Rocero. The project counts Active International as a financier.

“ASPIREist” airs Saturdays on HLN.
