‘Horrible Bosses’ Sequel Loses Director Seth Gordon

Film still expected to shoot in the fall with all three male leads returning

The producers of "Horrible Bosses 2" are hanging a "help wanted" sign on the door.

Director Seth Gordon has left the follow-up to his 2011 hit over scheduling conflicts, a spokeswoman for New Line Cinema said Wednesday.

The studio is looking for a replacement and the position has attracted interest from many parties, according to the studio. It still plans to begin shooting the film this fall.

Jason Sudeikis, Charlie Day and Jason Bateman are on board to reprise their roles from the first film. It followed three men's plans to murder their bosses in the style of "Strangers on a Train" and was a sleeper hit two years ago. It made more than $200 million worldwide on a $35 million production budget.

Since directing "Horrible Bosses," Gordon scored another R-rated comic hit this year with "Identity Thief."
