How to Watch NBC News and MSNBC’s Inauguration Coverage Live Online (Video)

Donald Trump will officially become the United States’ 45th President at noon on Friday, and you can watch it all online as it happens

For this very special occasion, MSNBC and NBC will come together to cover the inauguration, but the best news of all is that you won’t need a TV or even a cable subscription to watch.

MSNBC will be live streaming their coverage of Donald Trump’s inauguration on on the official MSNBC website, right at your fingertips here. You can view that stream without a cable login, fortunately.

Coverage will begin at 6 a.m. Eastern time bright and early on Friday with a four-hour special of “Morning Joe” live from The Dubliner pub in Washington, D.C. Then, beginning at 10 a.m., Rachel Maddow, Brian Williams, and Chris Matthews will host MSNBC’s all day coverage of the inaugural events.

NBC’s Inauguration Day coverage will start at 7 a.m. Eastern time with Matt Lauer and Al Roker co-hosting “Today” live along with Chuck Todd and Nicolle Wallace. At 10 a.m., Lester Holt, NBC’s “Nightly News” anchor will lead coverage from Capitol Hill. Joining him are Tom Brokaw, Todd and Wallace.

The NBC News livestream can be found on YouTube — and we’ve embedded that stream at the top of this post.

“Dateline NBC” will begin at 10 p.m. Eastern time with a special report from Dennis Murphy on the Inauguration Day’s highlights and special moments.

Donald Trump will officially become the United States’ 45th President at noon on Friday and will be sworn in around that time.
