Hugh Jackman Announces 2-Week Concert Series in San Francisco

The “Wolverine” star will strut his singing and dancing side at the Curran Theatre

Production headaches on "The Wolverine" may be a blessing for San Francisco-based Hugh Jackman fans.

Everyone's favorite Oscar host will sing and dance his way through a new stage show at the Bay City's The Curran Theatre for a two week limited run.

Had Darren Aronofsky not departed the comic book adaptation abruptly this month, Jackman would have been too busy donning his adamantium claws to regale theater lovers with songs from his favorite Broadway musicals.

Jackman will also perform numbers from his Tony award-winning star turn in "The Boy from Oz."

Entitled "Hugh Jackman In Performance," the show runs from May 3-15. Tickets have already gone on sale through SHN.

Though Jackman is best known for his film work, as Oscar viewers know, he can carry a tune.

Here's a clip of the Aussie action star hoofing his way through a number from "The Boy From Oz."
