Hugh Laurie, Larry King Sing the Blues (Video)

The "House" star covers "One for My Baby (and One More for the Road)," first performed by Fred Astaire in "The Sky's the Limit"

Hugh Laurie‘s days as Dr. House are behind him, but the British actor is keeping himself busy by singing the blues.

During an appearance on Larry King‘s Hulu program, “Larry King Now,” Laurie debuted a music video for his cover of  “One for My Baby (and One More for the Road),” a song first sung by Fred Astaire in 1943 film “The Sky’s the Limit,” and popularized by Frank Sinatra. King stars in the video as the bartender listening to Laurie croon the classic tune.

Laurie has released two jazz albums, “Let Them Talk” and, most recently, “Didn’t It Rain.” The Emmy-winning actor doesn’t have a television comeback planned at the moment, and doesn’t appear to be in any rush to get back to the small screen, either.

“I’m so happy doing what I’m doing. It’s almost obscene,” Laurie said. “I probably shouldn’t be allowed to do what I’m doing.”
