‘Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ Casts Bruno Gunn as Brutus

"Catching Fire" rounds out a cast that includes Jennifer Lawrence, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Josh Hutcherson

Bruno Gunn will play Brutus in "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire," Lionsgate said Wednesday.

Gunn is a brawny character actor, best known for his guest starring roles in shows like "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and "The Office." He's also appeared in such films as "Bad Teacher" and "Mickey Blue Eyes."

He'll have to put those muscles to work as Brutus, who in the Suzanne Collins novels that inspired the films is a skilled archer and a previous victor of the gladiatorial games at the center of the series.

In the books, he attempts to form an alliance with Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence).
