Jennifer Lawrence would seem to be lead a pretty charmed life, but sometimes things can be downright crappy for her.
Lawrence, whose “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” is poised to rake in boatloads of cash at the box office, dropped in at “Late Show With David Letterman” on Wednesday to discuss a range of topics, including a recent illness that created quite the messy situation for her.

“I thought I had an ulcer, and it turns out it was a fulcer,” Lawrence told Letterman. “I just had this really bad pain for, like, three weeks, and you can only s— your pants so many times a day before you have to go to the emergency room, before you’re like, ‘I need to go to the hospital.”
“It’s like talking to Helen Hayes!” Letterman quipped.

That wasn’t the only bit of over-sharing that Lawrence did during the sitdown. The actress also told Letterman about undergoing a procedure “an endescopo-something” (it’s a real medical term, look it up), and her initial condition as she began to emerge from her anesthesia-induced stupor.”
“The first lucid conversation I remember having was about the Kardashians,” Lawrence recalled. “And then I put my hand on the anesthesiologist’s chest and said, ‘Will you please just promise me something? Will you promise me that you’ll watch ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’?”
