IFC Promotes Blake Callaway to Executive Vice President of Marketing and Digital Media

The New York-based executive was formerly senior vice president of marketing at the television network

IFC has promoted Blake Callaway to executive vice president of marketing and digital media, the television network announced on Tuesday.

Formerly senior vice president of marketing, Callaway will oversee all aspects of IFC’s marketing efforts including consumer and industry campaigns, on-and-off-air creative, digital media, and integrated advertiser solutions in the newly created position. The New York-based executive reports to IFC’s president and general manager, Jennifer Caserta.

Before joining the network in 2011, Callaway served as the senior vice president of marketing, brand and strategy at Syfy. Previously, he worked for advertising agencies agencies such as Kirshenbaum Bond’s Media Kitchen and Merkley + Partners.  Callaway also worked at leading Hispanic Communications Agency Lopez Negrete.

“Blake has done a tremendous job in heightening buzz around IFC and reaching comedy fans in fun and innovative ways,” Caserta said in a statement. “He has a sharp understanding of viewers’ TV habits and responds with breakthrough promotional efforts that are organic to our brand and align us with partners who ‘get’ the value of what IFC delivers.  I’m thrilled to recognize his contributions with this promotion and expanded role.”
