Okay - when has the Idol song NOT been a completely cheesefest? It's what the producers want. Did it fit Kris better than Adam? Yes - but this song was written before we knew who was the final two and this is as a whole a pop singing contest. You do what you can with the song as an artist.
And for slamming Kara: I'm not a big fan of this song but every writer has their good and bad pieces. You can't deny her talent in songwriting ("Ain't No Other Man" for Christina Aguilera, "Taking Chances" for Celine Dion, "Walk Away" for Kelly Clarkson...etc., etc.). Also if you're going to go on and blame Kara: realize that there are other people who wrote the song too!

I don't know if I agree with your Gokey fans comment that they will be pulling for Khris. I find that sometimes these "religious fanatics" are really just trying to cover up the fact that they would like to wear eyeliner too. There maybe more "secret" Glambert fans then we realize.

I really hope we have an upset tonight....it would be a perfect ending to the less-than-suspenseful season.

Once again you nailed it Jennifer..its one of those nights where you have to stay away from the Internet ..if you don't want the results in advance.. ahhh the pitfalls of two broadcast times..( that why I like the Oscars)
