'Family Guy's' Violent Emmy Video: 'Eat Schrute and Die'

"Family Guy" may not win the best comedy Emmy. But nobody can accuse producer 20th Century Fox TV of not going all out to snag a statuette for Seth MacFarlane and Co. First, there was the "Vote for Change" riff on the Obama campaign Emmy posters. Then the non-controversy over the abortion episode of the show (which will still be seen on DVD). There's also been a live reading of said abortion episode, as well as a newmaking Playboy interview with MacFarlane (Stewie really is gay!) Now, producers are taking on other nominated series. Earlier today, a "Family Guy" video popped up on YouTube showing Stewie beating Brian the dog into submission when Brian indicates he might vote for "The Office" in the Emmy race. Our favorite line: "Eat Schrute and die."

hey joanna don't like it? don't think it's suitable than don't freakin watch it, clearly the fact that family guy is the now the 3rd most successful animated sitcom of all time your comment about the repulsive is stupid. its called dark humor you don't like it fine but don't insult the show, and by all means its not a family show since it covers all genres of tv,"I'd really watch a family show where its possible a show abut a serial killer cop could win."

I was upset and appalled by showing this type of violence on a large televised event where millions of friends and families are watching this exciting show celebrating people's accomplishments. We are celebrating the good, not giving the repulsive the spotlight, We had no choice in having to view that type of violence and were exposed to such graphic violence without warning,

All I wanted to do was touch my remote!

In fact, instead of focusing on the Emmy's, I was writing this, it took me away from the show. How many others took themselves away because of that awful clip?
