Hasselbeck Back on 'The View' Next Month

This is good or bad news, depending on where you stand on the matter of Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

ABC today announced that Hasselbeck will return to "The View" on Monday, Oct. 19. She's been on maternity leave since Aug. 7.

Hasselbeck is the ultraconservative voice on the ABC chatfest. Her absence has been filled with a series of guest hosts, ranging from LaToya Jackson to Kate Gosselin.

NOW PLAYING: ABC's "V" returns (after a too-long hiatus) March 30. For fans who want to get pumped up, check out this three-minute recap... of part one of NBC's original "V" miniseries.
