Howard Dean's Bro Goes After Lou Dobbs
CNN’s Lou Dobbs has never exactly been the friend of liberal activists.
First there was his campaign to strengthen immigration enforcement, and more recently the on-air time he has devoted to so-called “birthers” who insist President Obama wasn’t really born in Hawaii -- even as Dobbs says they are wrong.
Now, though, his comments on his nationally syndicated radio show about former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean -- "[H]e's a bloodsucking leftist ... I mean, you gotta put a stake through his heart to stop this guy" -- are prompting activists to seek Dobbs' firing both from that radio show and from his TV gig.
“Lou Dobbs is dangerous. It's time for CNN and the United Stations Radio Network to take him off the air,” says an email sent out Tuesday by Democracy of America to its members.
The organization's chair, it should be noted, is Jim Dean, the former governor’s brother.
“With violence from right-wing extremist groups on the rise and Republican backed mobs hanging cardboard versions of members of congress in effigy, Lou Dobbs' statement is un-American, irresponsible and dangerous. It’s time for Lou Dobbs to be pulled off the air.”
The email suggests “enough is enough”:
““His relentless promotion of debunked, racially charged conspiracy theories about President Obama's birth certificate have already seriously damaged CNN's credibility. Yet, Lou Dobbs remains on the air. Now, he's gone too far. He's not just making CNN look bad, he's inciting violence to stop Governor Dean from fighting for President Obama's health insurance option. That's not just un-American, it's irresponsible and dangerous.”
CNN refused to comment; United Stations Radio has not responded to a request for comment.

I wonder if Keith Olbermann will ever have anyone on his show who he knows will argue with him. Dobbs does. Dobbs is a man; Olbermann is a cowardly propagandist.

Lou Dobbs does not question Obama's birthplace. He only wonders, since the questions continue, why the President doesn't produce his real birth certificate. The one that has appeared on numerous posts is a COLB - a certificate of live birth which can be readily obtained. It does not give much of the vital information usually shown on regular birth certiicates. Why shouldn't Obama do so to quell the many questions? Seems many of the documents that Presidents usually have to produce are lacking. His popularity is slipping; looks like he'd do anything to help bring it up.
Lou only wondered and should not be blamed. It is a topic of speculation and most TV and radio hosts mention the interest in pertinent topics whether they believe them or not. So leave Lou alone. He's one of the very few who stands up for us by questioning the government on their love affair with illegal aliens.

To say Lou Dobbs is not a friend of liberal activists is disingenuous.
Liberals have no problem with Dobbs, he is in fact himself a liberal.
PROGRESSIVES have a problem with Dobbs.
Progressives are the opposite of liberals. Progressives oppose civil liberties and believe in a Police State.
Someone with such a political orientation obviously is not going to approve of Lou Dobbs.

Don't like what Dobbs has to say? Change the channel. If liberals believed in the free market, that's what they'd do. But fascism is their first instinct.
