Just Say Yes: 'Today' Books the Crashers
The White House party crashers have a date with "Today."
NBC News just confirmed that fame whores Michaele and Tareq Salahi have been booked for Tuesday's edition of the morning show. They'll be interviewed by Matt Lauer.
The news comes a day after the dynamic duo ditched plans to talk to Larry King tonight. The New York Times also reported the couple had been soliciting "bids" from other media outlets who might be interested in paying cash for their trash. NBC News policy prohibits cash payments for interviews.
As the Washington Post is already noting, "Today" is part of the same media empire that owns Bravo, the network behind the upcoming "Real Housewives of DC." Mrs. Salahi is auditioning for a spot on the show, though Bravo has said casting decisions are still months away.

Jo, few questions for you:
who do you think snapped the pix the crashers were able to post the same night on Facebook? Not the official photographers, no? maybe Bravo's?
do you think that Bravo is going to finally cast them in the show? are they rubbing their hands for such free publicity?
or are they going to distance themselves to something that can bring a federal investigation with possible persecution and more -- tick off DC -- not that conducive if their parent corporation is lobbying for favorable regulations...
what do you think?
