News 'Flash': ABC Delays Return of Drama
Fans of "Flash Forward" are going to have to wait a little longer to get some resolution.
ABC just ran a promo on the east coast letting viewers know the show wouldn't be back until March of next year. It had been scheduled to return in January after a holiday hiatus.
Now, however the network has decided to delay the show's return until March 4. Insiders said the network wants to run the remaining episodes without repeats. Avoiding the Olympics onslaught in February is also part of the equation.
ABC has ordered 24 episodes of "FF" for this season. Unless the production order is cut-- and so far, it hasn't been-- ABC will have to get a little creative if it wants to fit the whole run of "FF" into the official season.
Possibilities include a two-hour return in March, a two-hour finale... or maybe just airing the finale the week after the season ends.
No word yet on what ABC will air Thursdays at 8 in January and February. It's got some reality options (Jamie Oliver, anyone?) as well as "Happy Town" and a legal drama ("The Deep End") on the bench.
UPDATE: ABC has set March 30 as the return date for "V." It will follow "Lost" Tuesdays at 10.

I had so much hope for this show, but it is big-time letting me down. I think I'm going to give up on it.
Everything is just a little bit off. Especially the acting. Don't know if it's the actors or the direction. Also, they definitely need some new writers. They have a great premise, and many directions they could go... it seems so boring considering...
And spend a little money on the locations. The scenes of "Hong Kong" were terrible! Took me right out of the show!

Smooth move, ABC. When a show is struggling with ratings, it's never a good move to take it off the air for nearly two whole months. Take a break for the Christmas hiatus, then bring it right back in January. At this rate, people will lose interest in the show, think it's been canceled, whatever, and the show will probably struggle when it finally does come back. The networks seem to be killing their shows more than the audiences these days.

By "legal drama", you mean "The Deep End"?
