White House Won't Leak Obama's 'Letterman' jokes
Here is a prediction: President Obama is going to be funny on David Letterman tonight.
What funny anecdotes will the president have? Well, the White House won’t say exactly.
That’s of course not to say that reporters didn’t ask that exact question Monday of White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs aboard Air Force One as the president headed first to Troy, New York, for an event and later to New York City for the Letterman taping.
Question: “Does the president have any funny anecdotes for David Letterman tonight?”
Gibbs: “Well, I'm not going to preview them here, for goodness sakes.”
Question: “Well, so we can get ready. (Laughter.)
Gibbs: So that you can get ready? Well, that was first and foremost on the president's mind this morning. … No”
Gibbs went on to explain the president’s decision to sit down with Letterman for a long interview resulted from his appearance on the show during the campaign.
“He's had a good rapport with David Letterman for quite some time. We did this before he became a senator and again on the presidential campaign, so it should be -- I think it will be fun. But I also think, again, I think it's a way of talking to people that may not get their news all from traditional outlets. So I think that's an important way to continue the conversation.”

The 9-11 attacks were known to the Bush Government before they happened. It was not stopped due to the fact that Bush found it a perfect opportunity to start a WAR in the aftermath. The night before it happened George.W bush the father actually came to visit and stay with his son (President) in order to be closer as they watched and new all these people were about to die.
It is no wonder The president kept reading his childrens book as he was told what happened. He KNEW, so he figured let the dust settle as i finish this book and "appear" as though i care more about our citizens (which he let die) than to interupt a childrens sit down. He wasnt surprised or shocked as he sat there. Why would he be. He waited for this opportunity to look good and "defend his country" fight the terrorists he said. (he let them kill innocent people). The consiparcy continues. All presidents are pre=elected. Even when you think you voted them in. They were chosen to win way before. And so the story continues with OBAMA.

Bush reads a chils story to a class while at the same time he is told of a major attack on the US that he had been warned about by his PDB, and sits there and continues to read to the children, like the boob you appear to be, and you have the nerve to compare that incompetent 'Bush' to Obama, who is going to do a late night talk show, for ADULTS, during a time in history when there is relative peace in the worl (certainly NO PLANES flying into NY buildings, KILLING 3000 innocent workers, rescuers and the like.

...so let me get this straight. Bush reads to little kids and something unplanned, and tragic happens while he's doing so, equals Bush is incompetent. BUT Obama goes on late night and he's a great man in touch with the people?!? Are you serious?
