An explosive new teaser for “Independence Day: Resurgence,” complete with the National Anthem sung at an outdoor stadium, premiered during Super Bowl 50 on Sunday.
The Roland Emmerich-directed sequel to the 1996 sci-fi film starring Will Smith will hit theaters on June 24.
The new film stars Liam Hemsworth, Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman, Judd Hirsch, Vivica A. Fox, Brent Spiner, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Jessie Usher, Maika Monroe and Sela Ward.
