Isaiah Washington is a convincing mad man who buys a used car, then trains a troubled teenager to become a killer in "Blue Caprice" — an upcoming release based on the 2002 D.C. sniper attacks.
Sundance Selects has released the first trailer for "Blue Caprice" since acquiring the drama in March. The preview focuses on how real-life killer John Allen Muhammad (Washington) lured his 17-year-old accomplice, Lee Boyd Malvo (Tequan Richmond), into a killing spree which claimed at least 10 lives.

"They think all this is permanent. They don't realize the house of cards they're living in," Washington tells Richmond while watching unsuspecting citizens grocery shopping. "All it will take is a little push. A few bodies — more than few bodies — random targets. Total chaos."
Tim Blake Nelson ("O Brother, Where Art Thou?") and Joey Lauren Adams ("Chasing Amy") co-star in Alexandre Moors' debut feature, which may also serve as a career comeback for Washington, who was fired from ABC medical drama "Grey's Anatomy" in 2007 after making headlines for directing homophobic slurs at other cast members.
