New Jersey State Police are on the hunt for a lone gunman after two people were shot outside a J. Cole and Big Sean concert on Monday night.

According to police, shots were fired in the parking lot area of the PNC Arts Center in Holmdel, N.J., at 11:14 p.m.

Both victims were transported by Medvac to Jersey Shore Hospital, where they were in critical but stable condition as of midnight.

Authorities are searching for the single suspect in a “wooded area.” As of Tuesday morning, the search was still ongoing.

Witness Omayma Bougdour, 18, told the New York Daily News that the shooting happened after “an argument” broke out in the parking lot.

“Everyone started sprinting and stampeding,” she said.

Another witness, Mike Lefanto, said the gunman approached two men talking to a woman and fired seven shots.

“He took those two dudes out right away,” said Lefanto. “It looked like he knew what he was doing.”

Lefanto, who was attending the concert with his 13-year-old daughter, captured an image of the aftermath and posted it to Twitter.
