Jake Picking Joins Josh Brolin’s Arizona Wildfire Drama ‘Granite Mountain’ (Exclusive)

Heatseeker will also star in December’s “Patriot’s Day” with Mark Wahlberg

Actor Jake Picking has joined the cast of Josh Brolin‘s Arizona wildfire drama “Granite Mountain,” TheWrap has learned exclusively.

Picking will portray one of the heroic crew to battle a lethal 2103 wildfire in Prescott, Arizona. The film is currently in production in New Mexico.

“Granite Mountain,” originally titled “No Exit,” also stars Miles Teller, Taylor Kitsch, Jeff Bridges and Jennifer Connelly.

The film was written by Ken Nolan and Eric Warren Singer. Joseph Kosinski (“Tron: Legacy,” “Oblivion”) is directing, with Black Label Media and Lorenzo di Bonaventura producing.

Picking is repped by Management 360 and Innovative Artists. He’ll next be seen in the MTV Films hazing drama “Goat” opposite Nick Jonas and Ben Schnetzer. In December, he’ll star in Peter Berg’s Boston Marathon bombing film “Patriot’s Day,” with Mark Wahlberg, Michelle Monaghan and Kevin Bacon.
