Jamie Chung Joins ‘Hangover 2’; Mike Tyson’s Return Confirmed

“Sucker Punch” star will play Ed Helms’ fiancee in the WB sequel from director Todd Phillips

Warner Bros. is high on its "Sucker Punch" star Jamie Chung, as the actress has just been cast as Ed Helms' new fiancee in Todd Phillips' "The Hangover 2," Chung's publicist has confirmed to TheWrap.

WB and Legendary Pictures' sequel finds returning stars Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, Justin Bartha and Helms traveling to Thailand, where they again cross paths with the villainous Mr. Chow.

Meanwhile, Phillips has revealed that bad-boy boxer Mike Tyson will return in some capacity. Perhaps he goes to Thailand to demand a refund for his face tattoo from Liam Neeson, who was recently cast in a cameo as a tattoo artist?

"The Hangover 2" found itself embroiled in controversy two weeks ago after the sequel's cast and crew objected to working with Mel Gibson, who had initially been cast in a cameo despite accusations that he struck his former girlfriend, Oksana Griegorieva.

The blogosphere has been buzzing with reports that Galifianakis used his newfound star power to lead the mini-revolt against Gibson's casting. Jezebel decided to dig a little further, and reported on Monday that the actor's concerns may stem from the dedicated work he does with girlfriend Quinn Lundberg, the founder of NGO Growing Voices, which is an organization that works with survivors of domestic violence in North Carolina, where the actor spends most of his downtime.

"The Hangover 2" is currently shooting in Los Angeles before the production moves to Thailand.

Besides Zack Snyder's femme-powered fantasy film "Sucker Punch," Chung will soon be seen opposite Joseph Gordon Levitt in Columbia's bike messenger thriller "Premium Rush." She recently appeared in "Grown Ups" and "Sorority Row."

Chung is represented by Gersh and 3 Arts Entertainment.
