EXCLUSIVE

Bollywood is continuing its migration to Hollywood.

The Indian company RR Movie Makers has formed a U.S.-based financing and production branch to generate up to three English-language movies each year, TheWrap has learned.

Its first movie is a romantic comedy starring "The Sopranos" Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Jonathan Bennett and Nadia Bjorlin.

Indian director S.V. Krishna Reddy makes his U.S. directorial debut on "Divorce Invitation." Krishna Reddy, Bala Rajasekharuni and Robert Naturman wrote the screenplay.

The Indian producer Venkat — who heads RR Movie Makers — is producing.

The movie starts shooting next month in Los Angeles.

"Divorce Invitation" is about Mike, a happily married man, who runs into his high school sweetheart.

Mike realizes that she is his true soul mate, but he has a huge problem — he signed an iron-clad pre-nuptial agreement and his wife (Sigler) will not let him out of the marriage.

Reddy has directed 39 movies — usually writing the screenplays, the scores and the songs. He also acts in his films.

Sigler is known for playing Meadow Soprano.

Bennett's credits include "Mean Girls" and "Van Wilder: Freshman Year." He will next be in "Souveniers," starring James Cromwell.

Bjorlin has appeared in "Days of Our Lives." Her independent feature, "If I Had Known I Was a Genius," starred Mark Redmond, Whoopi Goldberg, Sharon Stone and Tara Reid.
