Jean-Claude Van Damme, the actor best known for a string of hit ’80s and ’90s action movies, demonstrates that his legs are “engineered to defy the laws of physics” in a new Volvo commercial that has gone viral this week.
The 53-year-old calmly stares into the camera while doing a most impressive split between two moving trucks — driving in reverse — and doesn’t even sweat.

“What you see is a body crafted to perfection,” Van Damme says in the video (above) that has wowed nearly 8 million people on the web. “A pair of legs engineered to defy the laws of physics, and a mindset to master the most epic of splits.”
The stunt, as the commercial explains, was performed to demonstrate the stability and precision of Volvo Dynamic Steering.
And remind the world that JCVD is still a badass, of course.
