Comedian and ventroiloquist Jeff Dunham will star in a primetime comedy special set to air on NBC in the fall.
“Jeff Dunham: Unhinged in Hollywood” will feature new stand-up and behind-the-scenes sketches, including guest appearances by country musician Brad Paisley, former UFC champion Chuck Liddell and Chris Parnell.
The special will tape at the Dolby Theater on Aug. 19 to air on NBC Sept. 17 at 8 p.m.
“NBC has been very good to me over the years,” said Dunham, “and it’s a true honor to have a special on the network. Walter, (Dunham’s curmudgeonly old man character) said he’s looking forward to performing again in the showbiz/divorce capital of the world.”
