Jeff Goldblum Teases, Once Again, That Laura Dern Might Appear in Future ‘Jurassic World’ Movie (Video)

Will we see Ellie Sattler return?

Will Laura Dern — or won’t she — appear in a future “Jurassic World” movie? Jeff Goldblum has, once again, teased an appearance of the “Jurassic” alum in the remaining two films of the trilogy.

“I don’t know for sure, I can’t divulge anything,” Goldblum said on “Watch What Happens Live.” “But maybe, maybe she will.”

Goldblum went on to say that “some people may or may not be in” the third movie, set for release in 2021.

Earlier this month, Goldblum told Entertainment Tonight that it would be “good news to me and to everyone, [to] millions and billions of people all over the world… all over the universe and cosmos when Ellie Sattler returns.” In December, Dern said she would love to reprise the character she played in 1993’s “Jurassic Park.”

“Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom,” the second installment starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, is directed by J.A. Bayona and will stomp into theaters on June 22. B.D. Wong, James Cromwell and Ted Levine also star. Colin Trevorrow, the director of the first “Jurassic World,” wrote the script.

A spokesperson for Dern has not yet responded to TheWrap’s request for comment.
