Jenner & Block Opens L.A. Law Office

National firm specializes in intellectual property.

Jenner & Block, a national law firm that specializes in commercial and intellectual property litigation and creative content, has opened a branch in Los Angeles.

Heading up the office are local attorneys Rick Richmond (pictured here) and Brent Caslin. Both attorneys come from Kirkland & Ellis, where they practiced in commercial and intellectual property litigation.

"We’re especially pleased to welcome Rick Richmond and Brent Caslin
to Jenner & Block as the partners who will lead our new office in Los
Angeles," said Jenner & Block managing partner Susan Levy. “Client support for us to extend our presence to the West Coast has been and remains very strong,
making this the right time for us to move forward. Though current market conditions are affecting all firms, Jenner & Block’s conservative management, strong capital position, and institutional client base give it the flexibility to make this strategic move now.”

The new 11,000-square foot L.A. office is located downtown in the landmark Library Tower.

Jenner & Block has approximately 470 attorneys in four offices:  Chicago, New York, Washington, D.C. and now Los Angeles.
