Jennifer Aniston, Demi Moore, Alicia Keys Team Up to Direct Lifetime Movie

Collaborative anthology will examine breast cancer and its effects

Lifetime has lined up an all-star roster to direct the upcoming Lifetime Original Movie "Project Five," the company announced Tuesday.

Jennifer Aniston, Alicia Keys, Demi Moore and "Monster" director Patty Jenkins will all pitch in on directorial duties for the project, a five-part anthology of short films that will explore the effect that breast cancer has on people's lives.

A fifth director will be named in the coming weeks, Lifetime added.

Aniston will also co-executive produce, along with former "Friends" creator Marta Kauffman, "The Last Samurai" producer Paula Wagner, "The Departed" executive producer Kristin Hahn, "Warren the Ape" co-executive producers Kevin Chinoy, and Francesca Silvestri. The project is being produced by Sony Pictures Television, Echo Films and Chestnut Ridge Productions.

“Our hope with 'Project Five' is to entertain, inform and inspire dialogue, research and prevention. Otherwise, our goals are small,” Aniston said of the project.  “We want these films to move people and empower those affected by breast cancer to stand tall through this challenge, which impacts all of our lives, no matter who we are.”
