Jennifer Aniston Stages Mini ‘Friends’ Reunion for ‘Ellen’

The actress, who played Rachel on the popular NBC sitcom, reunites with old pals from the Central Perk

Jennifer Aniston staged a mini "Friends" reunion with Matthew Perry and Courteney Cox just hours before squashing rumors of an actual reunion episode or season of the popular NBC sitcom.

The actress shot the spoof to promote her guest co-hosting gig on Wednesday's "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." In anticipation of her one-day gig on the daytime talk show, Aniston surprised Perry at his home to ask for advice in a video that hit the web on Tuesday. Cox also made an appearance in the sketch that suggested the three former co-stars weren't as good of "friends" as the public may believe.

So was the short collaboration just a tease of a longer one to come?

According to Aniston, probably not. Though she didn't flat out say "no" when Ellen DeGeneres asked if she'd like to announce a reunion, the actress wouldn't make a comittment either.

"I will say this, though. Doing that little bit with Matty and Court — we all were very nostalgic and miss working together and love each other," Aniston said. "It's a great thing to go back to your family like that, and also know that people would love it."

Aniston got a real family reunion earlier in the broadcast when her father, "Days of Our Lives" star John Aniston, surprised her on set during fake soap opera, "The Tales of Yesterday's Tomorrows."

Watch the closest Aniston is getting to a "Friends" reunion (for now) followed by the actress excitedly hugging her soap star daddy:
